Night blooming. Opens for 12-20 hours. *var. hookeri (Haw.) Kimn. 1829. (E. hookeri, E. stenopetalum, E. strictum). 19-23 cm long, 10-15 cm wide The Epiphyllum hookeri has large white flowers with yellow/red anthers. They are followed by a red, smooth, ovoid fruit.
